The sad part is...No one can truly understand the reason behind what Sasuke's doing. The pain that Sasuke's been feeling over his Brother, why his Brother Did it and now he holds this Hatred toward him. When Sakura tries to make Sasuke Stop what he was doing it was a feeble attempt, because she does NOT understand anything. Yes Sasuke Loved her but he needed revenge. Though it is a touching scene I agree, but Sasuke will always be stuck in the Dark, no matter what he does, its sad...
