Time Capsule Opening - Class of 1938

In 1989 while the West Gate to Wheaton College was being refurbished a time capsule was opened. The capsule had been placed there by the Class of 1938 upon its being built in 1935. As freshman the class donated the gate to the College. It had been designed by students in the class.

This is great, I wish people had more of an interest in making time capsules today, I've always wanted to start one myself. Maybe I will someday!

I'm sure half of them didn't remember what they put in it. If I were to make a time capsule today, I'd put an iPod touch, $25 dollars, and a bottle of wine into the time capsule.

I believe we made a time capsule for our old school . So if anyone is digging up Holy Family school , Southampton in the future , it might still be there..

I buried my Timecapsule today. I have 3 now in total.

1st one buried on July 1st 2000

2nd one on March 17th 2005

3rd one on January 27th 2010.

I am gonna bury 2 more later this year!
