@PrairleDogged Al Gore donates to this .org, he does not MAKE MEGA MONEY OUT OF IT. The other goals you list, I agree completely. Please supply a reference for the "$300 million". I also agree with that, if it is true.
Confirmation of exact amounts flowing to certain key climate Deniers.
“funding for high-profile individuals who regularly and publicly counter the alarmist AGW message. At the moment, this funding goes primarily to Craig Idso ($11,600 per month), Fred Singer ($5,000 per month, plus expenses), Robert Carter ($1,667 per month), and a number of other individuals, but we will consider expanding it, if funding can be found.”
"Gore is founder and chairman of the Alliance for Climate Protection, an outfit that seeks to “persuade people of the importance, urgency and feasibility of adopting and implementing effective and comprehensive solutions for the climate crisis.” It has launched a $300 million advertising campaign to coax Americans to embrace the carbon-lite lifestyle and to put pressure on their political leaders to lower national carbon emissions."
How convenient that the oil/aviation industries etc are behind the companies pushing green tech, its unbelievable people love to believe whatever they like to hear, people want to feel as though they are doing a good thing!! Much the same as aid to poorer countries
@KanyeezyHipHop "They" (climate scientists) don't leave out the MWP or the HM, they just know the values the science supports for those periods. What evidence do you have the MWP was warmer than today? (Global or Northern Hemisphere study please)
And even if the MWP was warmer, how would that show our adding CO2 to the atmosphere would not warm the planet? If anything it would mean climate sensitivity is greater than we think which would mean more warming due to CO2.
