  • It's easiar to actually delete the backround and export it to gif >.>;;

  • Easier than what? I demonstrate deleting the background and exporting it to GIF. :)

  • I mean, you're doing the mouse thing and such :P. I mean just going straight out and deleting the backround xD... Throwing it straight into the trash :P. Then exporting to gif xD.

  • Oh! Gotcha. :)  Thanks!

  • Lol i used a saved a picture that was already JPEG,loaded it to Paint.NET deleted the background and it still worked,for some reason it won't work if it's not already saved like that. You can also save it as PNG to make it work.

  • @freetutorials I have a question. I want to import a transparent GIF onto photoshop. Every time I import it, the transparent background turns into a white one. Is there anyway to import GIF's and keep the transparent background.

  • I have 4 pictures and they are pictures of guitars and I want to see what the paint job would look like on the plain red guitar so I don't have to have the hassle of painting it and messing it up. Now the guitars are shaped different as well. I just want to see what the paint job would look like if they were put on the other guitar. CAN YOU DO THIS??? If I trun them from JPEGS to GIFS for you??

  • im saying yes this is the wrong way to do it, it does what it says but not very well you saw the white edges around the object

    as for the eyes elliptical marquee tool set as subtract from selection will get rid of this eyes

    im not saying this isnt a fast simple way to do it but this is not the right way to extract an object from its background

  • @21CarPileUp

    You're saying that the Background Eraser isn't meant to erase the background? As for using the "SELECT > COLOR RANGE", that could be done -- but it would select the ducks eye (for example). By using the background eraser it erases just the background.

  • this is freaking retarded! you know nothing about photoshop!!! wow select>color range> highlights then click ok then back space wow this is a sad tutorial dont watch this isnt how its supposed to be done
