App. 60% of anthropogenic co2 emissions in 250 yrs arose due to fossil fuel burning. Deforestation depletes co2 absorbtion, greenhouse gasses, biomass burning, factory farming, monocropping, & radiative forcing & nitrous oxide raise temps above previous warming levels. Those preceding co2 hikes are thanks to feedback of "outgassing" oceans. Many opponents don't deny warming, but are silent when denials are disparaged; denials have been roundly answered, many by those without state funding.

jackie, although I and my family have been fans for your whole career, I do not agree with some of your points here. although i do agree it is a joke that al gore recieved a nobel peace prize, just as i think it is a joke that Barack obama recieved a peace prize.

He's so right. Global warming is 1000 times more political than it is scientific. Al Gore is a phoney but he ain't stupid. Who will head the world carbon credit bank when all the countries are buying carbon credits (which are worth as much as a thimble full of mouse faeces )? Al Gore. He has got himself in a comfy position. He's a money making machine.
