@MHardeman25 He may be accustomed but English obviously isn't his first language, and preaching to sheep doesn't take as much confidence as attempting to present arguments for religion to a room of mostly secular people.

Any preparation he might have done wasn't enough. His delivery was woefully negligible, it was difficult to make out what he was saying, and of that you could make out, most of it was weak.

Anyone who can't see how out of his depth he is here isn't very good at reading people.

@UnitedKingdomify John Onaiyekan didn't struggle with nerves, through out his career, he's given numerous sermons, lectures, and speeches. He's a public speaker, quite accustom to this sort of thing. Similarly, these men have plenty of time before the debate to write their opening statement. You don't think he'd reach out and get help on it? I'm sure he did.

If god is real, we're about to see a BIG change in the world! If there really is a god, Hitchens is destroying god in a debate on morality as I type this comment.
