her technical level is not bad for her age.But after 9 years a 4th dan is not posibel because you have a minimum madatory waiting years at the WTF and ITF.

I sympathize, it took me from age 7-30 to get my fourth. But now I'm a full time instructor and exercise/practice daily. As an instructor you must take into consideration many factors when promoting someone. She may be very gifted in ways that are not apparent from the video. I'd give the former Olympian (her teacher) the benefit of the doubt. I've seen many 4th dans FAR worse than her. I say kudos to her.

yeah I know what they do in korea, but this is in america, in korea they practice 3-4hours 2 times a day! she might be practicing like 3-4 times a week! so thats whats so unbelivble! I train every day, and it still took me 6 and a half years to get my black belt, besides she is not any good!

With an excellent teacher a hard working adult could achieve this rank. This rank is pretty common in Korea the homeland of Taekwondo. According to Kukkiwon guidelines the minimum time to 1st dan = 1 year. The minimum time to 2nd dan = 2 years, to third = 4 years, to 4th 7 years. Don't hold it against her if you & your instructor work at a slower pace.

On the Girl on Koryo vs Koryo only took her two years for Black Belt and that covering the full syllabus for Kup and Dan [Poom] grades not like a lot in the UK who only cover Patterns and Olympic Sparring on all the kup and some who only do that for dan and Kukkiwon Grade

Hi hope you can answer this who wins and why on Koryo vs Koryo Man or Girl,As every Black Belt or assistant instructor or Instructor should be able to answer this or do none follow the tenent of honesty,or will it take it going world wide to get answers then all will be asked why they did not answer?

Did it only take her 9 years to become a master, aka. 4th degree blackbelt! man it took me 6 and 1/2 years to get me 1.dan! how is it possible to get 4th dan in 9years?
