  • I agree .. women are taking the piss . Being a Woman myself a celtic married to a native Im submissive to my husband :) to be honest ladies if you are to act like a man expect to be treated as such , maybe when your husband comes home from work try telling him he is beautiful and remind him how much YOU love him .. your hypocrites and only want it one sided!

  • @SatannicaHelvete It's interesting how from the comments people think this is about men and women as such as opposed to more complex modes of society. Matriarchal systems are more about balance and what you talk about in your own life is one of balance between the sexes. It's not about women running things or men running things. That's completely missing the point.

  • @roaringfirefilms Im sorry i was under the impression i was allowed my own opinion without elitist people telling me how i should try to understand something >.<

  • @SatannicaHelvete You're welcome

  • You just don't understand it. It's not about someones sex. Margaret Thatcher was the ultimate patriarchal leader for example and they are not opposing systems. And about a 1/4 of reported sexual abuses against kids are committed by women and its imagined that when committed by women less are reported so truth might be higher. But that has nothing to do with matriarchy. This is a far more complex construct. There is clearly an issue that winds you up based on your life but not down to Matriarchy

  • Further, what if I were to tell you there are just as many women beating their men, as there are men beating their women? Yet, no shelters for battered men. Women are NOT oppressed in western society by being female, in fact, it is quite the opposite. It is men being disenfranchised. Women are actually quite priveledged.

  • @InvisibleMan542 Patriarchy and matriarchy are complex modes of society. Nothing to do with what you are talking about. More men are raped than women in the US every day thanks to the penal system. The penal system is structured as part of a patriarchal system. Women can be patriarchal and men can be matriarchal so far as the systems they live by.

  • @warren5422000 Ignorance is bliss I guess as you clearly have no idea what matriarchy is. You make it sound like it means women run things. And Russell Means, is as far from someone pussy-whipped as you can find. Nothing to do with sexism either. Shows how far out of balance your mind is.

  • @warren5422000 Sounds like you're scared of women being equal or better than you. Which pretty much proves this guys point of patriarchy being fear-based. you don't like being nagged to do some chores, right? Call me when your gender is targeted for murder and rape and domestic violence disproportionately.

  • this is inspiring

  • @SatannicaHelvete im pretty sure this has got to do with nothing russell is talking about. he is not in anyway talking of what the sexes 'roles' are, but talking about what we have inside of us, naturally, not what women MUST do.

he's saying it is a natural thing

  • when he says DUH!! it cracks me up every time

  • This guy is pretty awesome and smart!

  • @swags006 no .. im saying MY opinion , if its not YOURS doesnt mean im attacking you thats very ignorant

  • @InvisibleMan542 that's what russel means is trying to say.... silly

  • @immayhem Amenn

  • @SatannicaHelvete That is not elitest.... sorry. and you started attacking people with your comments...

  • @roaringfirefilms Brother I wish you can explain this simple truth to the black men & women of the "GODDESS" movement that refuse to see that the universe was created on the principle of BALANCE.

  • @InvisibleMan542 cycles of nature: i have grown my own food and raised most of the animals that i eat for most of my life. it has nothing to do with new age religion - its old, not new. when one lives close to the earth, one pays attention to cycles. i also practice natural methods of healing with wild herbs. on a pedestal? hardly. my hands are in the dirt, and my heart is whole. don't make ridiculous assumptions about people you don't know.
