Six months in a wheelchair, Dan is sweet, slightly naive, and liable to have his pants nicked and stuffed into a post-box.

  • Yes lets wrap disabled people up in cotton wool, put them in glass bubbles and try not to make them feel uncomfortable by purposely avoiding eye contact shall we? Disabled people have every right to be on tv and had the piss taken out of them like everybody else. I take the piss out of my friend for being in a wheelchair all the time, same as he takes the piss out of me for being bald at 25 and we all take the piss out of our other m8 for having a small penis. its what people do!

  • @badpenguin87 Your so thick; it is a reall life issue on disabled people trying to survive on each others support!

Your so fucking thick; do your research before you come out with retarded comments like that! I hate it when people like u think that they know every thing!

    Dumb ass hole!

  • I actually know someone who was asked to audition for the role of Dan. He, like the guy who ended up playing him, has no acting experience at all so he turned it down, thinking it was like a disability project rather than a serious production, with disability taking precedence over talent. He was absolutely right. I know a lot of people think it's un-PC to have able bodied actors playing disabled parts but I'd much rather have seen that than genuine disabled people who can't act.

  • @toobecks Thats great! Glad you stuck up for yourself here! I loved Cast Offs! Which actor do you know? I know one too! LOL! Maybe it's the same one I know, as you said it was a "he" you know! I know Mat Fraser who stars as Will. Name dropping there!

  • tigress/bowdowntomyvidoes person:

Thanks for using all of your different accounts to give me the thumbs down - real grown up.

The fact remains that this isn't real. I even know one of the actors in this clip. He was paid to ACT as a character. It's a comedy docu-drama. Look at the credits at the end - the people in this are actors.

Show everyone how grown-up you are by admitting your mistake, you'll get more credit than if you just slag everyone off and give them "poor comment" marks.

  • ? Ok just to let u know the original owner of this account who was debating over this is now gone; they give this account away and I was able to get into it first

    (My main account is BowDownToMyVideos)

  • @NewEuropeanTigress Its not realy its a comedy put together with actors who have disability. Im sorry but I know.

  • @ NewEuropeanTigress

It's a comedy drama. It is not real. The way you can tell is when the credits at the end display the actors real names. This happens suprisingly frequently in programmes which means that everytime it happens, the people on your television are actors, they are not taking part in a documentary. This might mean that a lot of other "documentaries" you watch on Channel 4 aren't real life - Peep Show for example. Sorry to break to you, but you need to know.

  • @ravens11 You don't know a thing at all!

badpenguin talking shit; this program is not a drama.. it is REAL!!!

    Dumb ass >_>

  • @masterchiefx2 Your comment makes no sense! Did you even watch the video!?
