hello HTML5 - YouTube beta program

As you know the web is a pretty dynamic place with sites running plug ins such as Adobe flash and Oracle Java. But now the next version of HTML is being developed with large support from Google. Version 5 of HTML HTML5.

@wilfeatscheese me, but hey were still at least one year out, the w3c (the organisation in charge of HTML) has even come out to say that html5 is not at all ready for man stream

javascript isn't by sun, java is. javascript and java are very different, virtually unrelated as far as their syntax and programming interfaces go.

The only thing that is making me not use html5 for youtube is the full screen problem. Is anyone else having this problem when they watch videos that are in html5? For some reason i am not able to see anything in the full screen view sometimes..

Flash is a bloated antediluvian resource hog. The purpose of faster hardware and connectivity is to increase speed, decrease bandwidth usage - not to offer programmers a licence to keep increasing bloatware to the point that there is no perceptible improvement in performance. That's just the dying twitches of "Windows Think"

@rdknght17 actually there is no loading speed u can skip ANYWHERE anytime without buffer. and with opera an ap to make the vid bar if how far ur in, nyan cat :D

people you do realize that for now adobe flash player is a lot more stable then html5. and what is this silly excuses that notebooks cant do adobe very well
