very high notes and she stands like nothing is happening and singing....anyone else would struggle and have to shake their heads several times to reach there. That is the difference of janaki and todays singers.. got it???????

just remember S Janaki is singing at this age - and still very good. i would say no comparison of Chitra wuth her even though Chitra is our reigning best singer. i have heard the first bhaavagaana of Malayalam film songs 'Thaliritta kinaakkal' - original by S J and another one by Chitra - be reaffirmed Chitra is no where near to SJ. also SJ has sung for a 16 year old boy - in a male like song - just imagine the range of voice modulation by a lady! great blessed singer.

Look at her simplicty in dressing and make up. She a real spiritual lady. I like her songs a lot.
