Until the black leaders actually represent the black community v. getting rich off the race card; 0 will change.
Equal Opportunity means = GET A JOB. YOU have kids;YOU SUPPORT THEM.
"WHITES" NOR GOV'T ARE TO BLAME.
THE people living in them are. Drop out of school; have kids with 0 savings, refuse to work, refuse to be responsible adults and make responsible decisions; = poverty.
Nothing is stopping ppl from living there...except themselves.
Wanna blame someone.??.Look in the Mirror.

Its called White guilt.
Agree. War veterans as well. you serve our country = reward should be free or cheap housing until you get back on your feet.
Not abused by lazy people who breed like roaches, refuse to accept responsibilities of an adult; just wanna get everything for free....PLU-EASE!!!

@jsyell16 :I grew up POOR. Wore used clothing. Worked since I was 11; saved every cent. Lived below my means. Studied HARD.Never went out to dinner or drank alcohol, soda. I paid for my own college. I paid bak every penny while working 2 jobs through, after college. Saved until we had enough to raise a family in a cramped, tiny apt. My family never took welfare, sect-8, stole. We Worked our butts, hands off.Picking fruit to shoveling. GET IT??
I only bought a used car when I was 30..we walked.

I never "partied", I only bought what was necessary.I never went out to dinner or drank alcohol. Or soda. I paid for my own college. I can't stand it when they do things like this. They tear down the projects to put up million-dollar condos. That is so wrong.
I think they should re-construct and remodel the public housing complexes, and make them safer and more inhabitable living environments.
