@JLinnst Jesus committed a crime which in his time was considered worse that all that. You see, in Jesus' time, women and children were nothing but chattel. Slavery was acceptable, and Jesus never spoke against it. But one thing that was considered a capital crime was blasphemy, and that's the crime Jesus was convicted of according to the Bible. (Let's be clear: I don't even believe Jesus existed, much less that he actually committed a crime).
