@ForeverVachon Kathie Lee loved the show as long as she believed she was the star, and for a while it seemed that way. But when Regis became an icon with Millionaire, her bloated ego couldn't take it. Then, after years of struggles in the business, it finally became obvious even to her that Regis was the main reason people watched that show then as now. I predict this program a quick demise without him. The woman co hosts have always believed they were the stars. But there is only one Regis.

Why did she leave? She looks younger today at 58 than she did back then but she sure was more pleasant with Regis, she was a nicer human being to others.
