@12valvepower1 This doesn't have an intercooler, and it's an automatic. It's an engine from a van with an ambulance package, so it has dual alternators. It also will hit 40psi boost with just the stock turbo and a chip.

@73f1004x4 there is nothing similar between a 460 and a pstroke they werent even manufactured by the same company. ford built the 460 and international built the 7.3 off of the old 7.3 idi diesel engine

@browningt93 There was quite a difference in the frame in the rear. The old frames curved up, and the new frame is straight all the way back. We just made some tall body mounts to make up for the curve. Also the rear end had to be moved forward.

@nathanischuck do you know how much diffrence their was in the frames i have been looking into this and have not found alot of info on people that have done it sweet truck

@73f1004x4 a diesel is alot heavyer built with alot higher compression, a gas engine would blow to peices on diesel

@359scooter Nothing on the truck is original except the VIN number plate. It is a 76 but the grill is from a 78'

the 7.3 turbo diesel is really just a 460 with a diesel conversion and a turbo.
