Golden Eye - Time Trial - Nigeria - Cradle (13:40)

Difficulty of the Time Trial: Operative
Objectives:
- Defend Natalya
- Complete the time trial in 14:50

Nigeria, Cradle:
Shoot the guards and reload your gun, grabbing the Stauger. The Stauger is a really good machine gun. Keep Natalya safe, eliminating all the guards as fast as possible. Natalya's progress is based upon how fast you eliminate the guards, because there is a set number of guards you have to eliminate. A little trick for the second part is to get half way down the stairs. The guards will come out swarming the door on the right flank. Make sure you have around 10 minutes of so left, It may be a little less, but keep 9:30 as you minimum. Run through the next room and make it outside safely. Take the first right (immediately), then the second left, the final left and the after last one left. Beat Alec and run towards the ladder. Get outside and run towards the ladder that brings you down. Get through the room for the final battles with Alec. There's a little trick to do the last battle fast. Keep a small distance between you and Alec once he reaches the downside of the room. Make sure you can hide behind the wall. He must shoot back at you, making him not move anywhere. Once he reaches low ammo, the helicopter is being called in. Hide as soon as possible. Make Alec's health go to the point he runs away, now make your way to the elevator. Fight Alec there, once you think you're done, you're not. He will still be alive, but a bullet in the head is enough. After this you will need to have at least 2:40 left on the clock, as the final cut-scene has another final cut-scene which is dead annoying.

Speedrun note:
Cutscenes add up to the time even before starting or after ending your final action.

@shuboy05 That's my only gripe with the game. Alec is a cheesy bullet sponge boss. Everything else in the game was great. I loved choosing stealth or rambo mode, I didn't mind the QTE fights, and I really enjoyed the updated plot. Also, Brosnan was a good Bond, but only in Goldeneye, all of the other movies he did were too cheesy. Thats why I actually enjoy Craig in this one as well.

@ninendowii2000 that was one thing that was really wrong with this game... no cheats.. The other things were no duel weapons.. No mines.. These were things that were a vital integral to making Goldeneye 64 a hit..
