Gauthier came over to the UK to lead a brilliant didgeridoo workshop at Aboriginal Arts Ltd in London.
Here's Gauthier playing a Larry Winiwini yidaki http://www.aboriginalarts.co.uk/new/larry_new/larry.htm
Gauthier lives in France and is available to teaches his amazing didgeridoo techniques, and Gauthier has a great CD for sale too! gauthierdidg@gmail.com
a yidaki sounding nothing like a yidaki!
i did like it though.

What this guy is performing is very clever and would take many years of practice, although the rhythm just seems to lack character and presents as showy and busy, rather than ancient, otherworldly and primitive in my opinion, although I do like the progressive essence of his playing.

Would have been nice to hear this yidaki being
played in the proper traditional style...
