An olive-picking holiday in Tuscany with my friends.
Had a wonderful time and got some delicious olive oil by the end of it.

Well, you learn something every day... and there was me thinking those olives would be extra delicious straight from the tree!

I learnt the hard way - you cannot eat olives straight off the tree! Olives have to be pickled before they become edible.
Not that olives are poisionous or anything like that they just taste very VERY unpleasant!
