My grandfather was Vincent Sardo.....he and my grandmother, Julia Sardo, owned Flagship records......I am not sure about the geniality, however, I think that my grandmother's maiden name was Brady......
Howard W. Brady was my uncle married to Emma Brady and lived in Garfield, NJ in the early days before Passaic. Every now and then when I wasn't touring i'd stop and and sing with him and the West Virginia Ridgerunners!
I knew Howard Brady in the late 70s. He was working under the name "Hawkeye" and his band was "Hawkeye & Pappy and the West Virginia Ridgerunners". In the early 80s he disappeared and nobody's heard anything from him since! His last known address was 260 Gregory Avenue Passaic NJ He played in the small country & western beer joints in north NJ.
Back then he had told me he had the record "Hot Rod Boogie", though it would be 20 years before I ever heard it!
