@swebbo Stonehenge was always aligned to the rising Midsummer Sunrise and Midwinter Sunset, Even accepting the tilt in the axis of the Earth, it's only a few degrees off after 4500years. Same with Newgrange.

good video! thanks for sharing

No it still works to this day,On the Winter Solstice,A beam of light still shines up the centre passage way and illuminates the core, pretty amazing considering its 5000 years old and 500 years older than the great pyramid of Giza,Some Historical Revisionists actually believe that this knowledge was taken from Ireland and brought East and not in fact East to West like We are led to believe.

how does newgrange work perfectly if it was built earlier than stonehenge? wouldnt the maths and angles be slightly off now, that it wont line up with the sun like it would have when it was built??

The stone Age still plays a big part today in our societies. You can go to any church yard to see a tomb stone of old & new.

Stonehenge is childsplay in comparison to Newgrange in Ireland which to this day still works perfectly on the winter solstice oh yeah and its a thousand years older ,3200 BC to be exact.
