He never talked in his concerts or carried on conversations while on stage. He let his singing do the talking for him. All that was needed.

I know some of my younger friends first heard this song on the Blake Shelton cover and didn't know Conway did it first. I can't imagine them going back to that after seeing this performance. I got a kick out of one person sending me the Blake video and then sending the original back to them with the message, "This is how it's done."
