Traditional Irish Dance in the early 1980's

The quality isnt so great but this is footage that has been stored on a video cassette for maybe 25 years so wear & tear is to be expected. The guy is called Declan Ganley, in this clip he must surely be in his 40's or maybe early 50's - 50 years of age or not, he would dance me off the floor any old day of the week!!! =)

I love that dance and I love the tune as well. I dont know the names of either so if you happen to know, please tell me!

It is indeed 'The Hunt' a well known set dance. Some adjudicators like it at a slightly slower majestic tempo. Those beats are crystal clear!
