why release the it? they are great to eat i know alot of people dont like to eat them because the meat is abit tough but they are great to eat

why is it always release and let go, fish such as, drum, carp, suckers, big head carp, etc, i do understand pike, bass,game fish, . theres plenty of drum and carp in our rivers,whatsa the point,i seen fisherman,dam near fightin, on the bank , on releaseing, big ,nasty carp,and gizzard shad, fish like them should eatin,

i caught my first freshwater drum the other day on the st. louis river in MN. I was wondering if it was big or just normal so if someone could check out my channel and look at my profile pic that would be great.

Looks like you are drifting the flat. Is there a ledge where you are casting? What's your setup, line, weights and hooks? Great videos!!
Equipment is listed in video description and yes there's a flat that drops off a ledge.
