  • SWEET! But what I want to see is how to get a static address. Mine changes and I can't use my server efficiently... :/ Good video though... :)

  • i'll look into that. good suggestion!

  • so how is this useful? i know that other tinkernut videos actually are very kool but it seems like this does absolutly nothing.

  • this video is targeted towards people that run home servers. it's useful for them so that they don't have to keep typing in their IP addresses. i make a wide range of videos, just because it's not useful to you does not mean it's not useful.

  • Hi! I'm using a laptop under a wireless router and I've just finished setting up my Filezilla server. But when I tried doing what you said in this video, it didn't work. can you help me please. Thank you.

  • thanks alot dude!!

  • Great But can you tell me how can i get or setup my IP to Dot.Com ?

  • Just a note: the point of DynDNS is "dynamic DNS" -- the business originally started as a way for users with dynamic IP addresses to have host names that pointed to their locations. It's redundant to use DynDNS if you have static IP. For "dynamic" DNS, you use a dyndns client (there are many) to monitor your external IP address and update DNS when your IP changes. Linksys broadband routers have a dyndns client built in.

  • @jax0 try no-ip.com thay have a program to refresh your ip to dns

  • @ikcti ha ur funny
