After the Reno crash... that's a bit scarier! But, still pretty darn awesome!

@paranoid19851 P.s. I had the "Yeah right" response to their Tiger Tank claim, but their response to my skepticism was perfect; they didn't give a shit if I, or anyone else believed them or not! I've heard other WW2 pilots claim the only way to slay the Tiger was to bounce rounds from the ground into the belly. These Blue Nosed Bastards knew of the strategy, but preferred the 250 yard convergence. As it was easier to "Put the bead on em" and a Jugs bead carried the force of an 18wheeler @60mph!

@paranoid19851 Pardon my intrusion, Capn. know it all; here to confirm your math is correct. To put that in perspective the Jugs .50 BMG's each have an 800 R.P.M. cyclic rate of fire X 8 guns, that's 106 rounds per second. Each pilot set their own convergence point; anywhere from 250-700 yards out front where all that lead came together. My gramps (WW2 P-47&P-51 Badass) and Squadron mates said no matter the target i.e. poor bastard if hit at the "Sweet Spot" it's war was over, even a Tiger Tank!

Anyone else notice he was flying the colors of the Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney?
