Joe: "Did I say something wrong?"
Demi: [[She still shocked.]] "Um..." [[She gulps.]] "Don't you think you're going kinda fast?"

Joe: "What do you mean?"

Demi: "I mean you said you loved me only 2 minutes after you asked me to be your girlfriend! I mean I really really like you but..."

Joe: [[He's hurt.]] "Saying 'I love you' to someone isn't something you can say too fast to a person!"

Demi: "It is to me!"

Joe: [[He looks down at his feet.]]

Demi: "Joe... I think we should just stay friends for now..."

Joe: [[He looks up.]] "Why?!"

Demi: [[She gets tears in her eyes.]] "Please don't ask why! It's just... it's just too complicated."

Joe: [[He looks into her eyes.]] "Demi, you can tell me!"

Demi: "Joe, remember earlier when you said you trust me?"

Joe: "Yes, I do trust you!"

Demi: "Well trust me now and just forget about me!"

Joe: "How can I forget someone I love?!"

Demi: "Don't say that! You don't love me!"

Joe: "Yes I do! Don't you trust me?!"

Demi: [[Her tears start to spill.]] "I'm sorry, Joe but I need to leave!" [[She kisses him on the cheek and runs off.]]

Joe: [[He stands there sad and confused.]]

[[With Demi...]]

Demi: [[She calls Dallas.]]

Dallas: "Hello?"

Demi: [[She sobs.]] "Can... you... get me... from the... beach?"

Dallas: "I'll be right there!"

[[Ten minutes later...]]

Dallas: [[She gets out of her car.]] "Demi!"

Demi: "Dallas!"

Dallas: "Come on let's take you home!"

[[They get in the car.]]

[[At Demi's house...]]

Dallas: "Tell me what happened."

Demi: [[She explains to her what happened.]]

Dallas: "Oh so this about what happened with--"

Demi: [[Her cell phone starts ringing.]] "Hold on." [[She answers it. "Hey Sel." [[She sniffs.]]

Selena: "Why does it sound like you've been crying?"

Demi: "Come over and I'll tell you."

Selena: "I'll be right over!"

[[Ten minutes later...]]

Selena: [[She comes barging through the door.]]

Dallas: "How'd you get in?"

Selena: "I have a key."

Dallas: "How'd you get a ke--"

Selena: "Demi, tell me what Joe did to you!"

Demi: "Dallas, can you tell her I really don't want to talk about it..."

Dallas: "Sure." [[She explains everything for Demi.]]

Selena: "Demi! Did you break up with Joe just because of what happened before?"

Demi: "Sel! What if he came back and I was in love with Joe?"

Selena: "You would have Joe who loves you back and you would tell that loser to get a life."

Demi: "How could you say that?!"

Selena: "Come on Dem! I know you love Joe!"

Demi: "Sel..."

Selena: "Why don't you want to love Joe?!"

Demi: "Don't ask why."

Selena: "Demi, tell me." [[She does the puppy dog pout.]]

Demi: [[She sighs.]] "I don't want to get hurt, I love him too much!" [[She realizes what she just said.]] "Oops."

Selena: "You just said you love Joe!"

Demi: [[She lies.]] "No, I didn't!"

Dallas: "Yes, you did! I'm a witness!"

Demi: "Who's side are you on?!"

Dallas: "Don't be like that Dem."

Demi: [[She sighs.]] "Okay, I do love Joe but how do I know he's not just saying that? He probably says he loves every girl he dates!"

Selena: "Come on you know, Joe. Hey! That rhymes! Know. Joe. Know. Joe."

Demi: "Hello?! Middle of a crisis here!"

Selena: "Sorry but wait you love Joe too much to love him?"

Dallas: "I'm confused."

Demi: [[Her cell rings again.] "Oh no it's Joe!"

Selena: "Hey! That rhymes too!"

Demi: [[She glares at her.]]

[[At Jonas house...]]

Joe: "She's not answering, Kevin."

Kevin: "Just be paitent!"

Joe: [[He sighs.]] "I got her voicemail! Now what?"

Kevin: "Leave her message saying how sorry you are and that you still want to be friends!"

Joe: "But I wanna be more than friends."

Kevin: "Just do it!"

Joe: [[He sighs.]] "Fine... umm... Demi I'm really sorry about what happened I didn't mean to upset you. I really do wanna stay friends. Please call me back!" [[He hangs up.]]

Nick: [[He walks in.]] "Hey what's up, guys?"

Kevin: "Where have you been?"

Nick: "I was..."
