I saw 2 things vers similar to these recently flying over the M25 motorway whilst i was driving to kent.
First thing i thought it was, was a pair of F1-17 stealths but as far as im aware there none in use in the uk.

As 'they' got nearer the 'dull reddish glow' merely dropped even lower down - it was almost on top of the factory roof to my left - looking out my back door. The 'planes' continued over my roof - then the cheeky 'dull red glow' gained altitude once again and disappeared after 'them' - also flying over my roof ?!!
You tell me m8 ! wtf *is* it all about LOL ?!!

Hi CC...I'm so glad someone else saw that Flying Manta Ray too and managed to capture it on camera. My 'sighting' was around 1am by the light of the moon and stars...a 'sight for sore eyes' that I will never forget my friend.
btw...think I saw a 'chase' last week - a strange dull reddish glow duckin' 'n divin' - in an area of sky (not very high either) followed by three or four 'planes' heading for it from the opposite direction. As 'they' got nearer the 'dull reddish
