Nice vid. I'm also using Ubuntu 7.10, but I have failed in figuring out how to compile the version of the 3d plugin that you have - with the window break issue fixed etc. Care to tell me how? As I am only able to compile a certain snapshot of 3d that is really bad - at least point me to the right place.

I'm using the snapshot from GIT immediately before they switched it to use the compiz-core.h headers, etc. It may not work with a default install of Compiz on Ubuntu, though, I use a custom (newer) 0.6.0/0.6.2.

It's on my laptop. Dual 1.73ghz celerons, 1gb of RAM, running Ubuntu 7.10, Compiz 0.6.2, AWN and Screenlets.

everytime im try to enable the special effects it says the special effects can not be enabled... this sucks uber balls

Awesome vid. Ubuntu is sweet. I haven't been able to figure out how to get the multiple backgrounds though. all of my desktops look the same. if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Ubuntu im guessing. Its pretty awesome. Only If I could use my Windows apps 100% on Ubuntu...I wouldent be using windows.
