How on earth can 2 people dislike this great recording. They must be headbangers that came on this magic by accident. If that is the case I forgive them. I am not decrying headbangers by the way.

if this isn't one of the most fucking amazing versions of this piece you'll ever hear then i'm johnny b goode. it blows emma kirkby away and how often does that happen? never, except in this one case. fieryjohn knows whereof he speaks and this rendition is simply fucking amazing.

Isn't it amazing that in such a terrible world as the one we're living in, one can find such beauty? (as in the songs of Purcell, especially when sung by Mr. Deller)
