These are my two fish tanks that i have in my livingroom. The first of the two is a 55 gallon all cichlids except 2 and plecos, the second a 25 gallon with parrot cichlid. My fish are good and healthy but i cant get the water crystal clear in the 55...any suggestions are welcome.
Make Sure that there is no sun getting to the tanks because that causes green water, algea growth from sun.

character limit sucks!
also did the eggs from your parrots ever hatch?! ( most parrots are infertile due to the fact that they are hybrids
great setups and thanks for sharing!
thanks for sharing your tanks with us and they are great! although i hope you take my advise.

GREAT TANKS! but two things you should know. the "ventusis" is called a nimbochronis venestus or just venestus or girrafe cichlid.and i would recommend taking the venestus and the brichardi out due to the fact that they are african cichlids- brichardi- lake Tanganyika and venestus- lake malawi and they both call for very hard water with a very high ph while your other fish will be perfect in your current setup ( driftwood majorly lowers ph and hardness)

im guessing the reason you cant get the water clear in your 55 is the live plants and driftwood are staining it. i sometimes use a product called acurel f that can reduce cloudiness. it only works for me about 50 percent of the time in a 10g tank i have with the same problem.
