Thanks, I really like all your video posted on utube. I am planning to visit HK in next month and I want to watch lion dance. Do you know where I can get the schedule? Thanks, Nancy

June is the rainy month. Hope it is not too wet for you. I do not know where or when they do lion dances, except to say that they are everywhere during Chinese new year. Listen for the very loud banging of drums. I decreased the volume on the camcorder about 30 db and then reduced the volume more with the Sony Vegas software. It was still loud.

Update: Two weeks ago (June 2008) we had 12 inches of rain in 12 hours with 6 inches falling between 7 AM and 8 AM. There were numerous land slides blocking many roads. It rained every day for the first two weeks of June. The rain has stopped (for now), the air is clear, and it is beautiful right now. June and July bring the nicest air we have all year, although it is very wet and humid.
