  • Idiot! He is the major genious of all times!

  • Mozart wrote his first minuets when he was just 4... This kid was a mathematical genius and created and performed all his works at the age you were still pissing the bed.

From what Mozart was to become, came from his early works. What breaks my heart is the thought of WHATIF he lived past the age of 50. Experts say Mozart never reached his prime age for composing. He was still just a youngster musician when he died. Still, he has been rated the best composer of all time.

  • my left ear enjoyed this

  • @hipepleful Depends upon whom you ask. In his day, there were very strict rules... about the use of leading tones, suspension, and a bunch of other things. He was successful, largely because he understood the rules, and then proceeded to break them regularly. Example: For hundreds of years (even to a degree today) there was a rule that said in voice writing, never move two voices in parallel fifths or parallel octaves. There are "reasons" for that, but it can be very creative.

  • @twistoftime i thought the rules were pretty much, just musical notation, and the musical theory (like what a trill is).

  • @Kirty7 Two observations. 1. Mozart didn't compose "by the rules." Nor did many others. It was only through their innovation that music continued to evolve. 2. There are very few "rules." Beyond some basics of particular forms, i.e. fugal writing, real "rules" don't exist. When you take a theory course, you're taught to never move in parallel fifths and octaves...and then you're taught (by a good teacher) to "ignore those rules." Math only controls how many beats to the bar & not always that

  • OMG his eyes follow u :/

  • @TheMexihcatl Oh ok I saw what you meant in your extended comment. Never mind

  • @TheMexihcatl Einstein mastered differential calculus by the age of 14...

  • @TheMexihcatl Every rules in composition, deal with math. Stop.

  • @Kirty7 Mozart was a music genius, but neither Einstein nor Mozart were math geniuses.
