You said it was better. How? I don't see how changing out an aluminum tube makes the heli fly any better unless its preventing the belt from rubbing. As for the tail boom support, I think its all just for looks.

Hey can you post a video of the gears and what mods you made there to makeroom for belt and a nice close up of every thing else

I think the combination of the belt driven tail and a good headlock gyro makes it hold better on the wind.

it's a gy240 and hs81

How did you fit a T-rex tail on there. Doesn't it have a greater diameter than that the hole on the frame?

The boom does not go into the frame. The stock boom was cut an inch past the frame then a bushing was used to adapt the t-rex boom. A modified servo mount serves as a boom clamp. The actual servo mount closer to frame serve as second boom clamp

What kind of bushing did you use?-and are u also using a T-Rex Belt? If u are, which T-rex model did u take parts from?
dragus359 3 years ago
I made the bushing fron an aluminum round bar.
Yes this one uses a 397T t-rex belt. All the t-rex part 450 SE V2.

yes all the tail parts are t-rex. I have not seen a belt cp up-close but I am sure it can be done.
