A study of gay conversion therapy released by Dr. Robert Spitzer in 2001 sent shockwaves through the American media despite serious methodological concerns. This video examines those concerns and goes on to examine how the study has been abused by anti-gay political organizations such as James Dobson's Focus on the Family to promote anti-gay public policy.
Cinematography by Esteban Rael
APA (American Psychiatric Asotiation) practically committed a crime yielding to the lobby gay pressure of saying that Homosexuality is another option when don't. Those gays that are not happy with gay lifestyle has the right to change and this right most not be denied. Gay lifestyle is corrupt, promiscuous and filthy. Those who still keep some of that family values and morals still remain in the shadow but in pain because gay lifestyle doesn't offer a healthy way of life.

oh i get it... the freedom to act and think like you....
but not act like what I want??
How is that your religion makes people free by changing their belief about an arbitrary personality trait? that sounds like the opposite of freedom to me. .. of course they used to do the same with left handed kids.

LOL! You were not BORN as a Christian and to say such a thing makes you show that you are not only ignorant but a fool as well to continue to believe that.
You obviously have no reason to post on this video as your comment not only didn't make logical sense but has nothing to do with the video or the discussion. FAIL.

Don't you all think pure homosexuality could have psychological causes? Are people born gay? I think a minority of them are...not saying it is an illness or anything like that but from my point of view human beings are naturally heterosexuals with rare bisexual tendencies.

Note: Homosexuals are already condemned. Being free of that is to live the biblical verse we're all familiar with, that few shall go to heaven.

Being a Catholic it really doesnt matter if its a small or unique group that succeeded. What really matters is believing that homosexuality is explicitly condemned in the Bible and therefore to have a homosexual life is wrong.
The RIGHT thing to do is to be celibate or CHANGE... if this proves that ppl CAN change it really doesnt matter if the group is small.

I don't have an issue with Dr. Spitzer research, it's the way it is misused by "traditional values" groups that pisses me off. Some people have changed themselves to the point where they feel they are living a "completely" heterosexual life. Thats there choice, but his research in no way says that this means homosexuality or sexual orientation is a choice or that it should or must be changed like many of the conservative Christian groups proclaim.
