Then there's Newt Gingrich who said: What you have to do is be politically honest. If the Republicans win a majority in the House and Senate next year, they will not be able to repeal the bill. The president would veto it. WAKE UP, REPEALERS! You're being USED!

Marco Rubio told Wallace on FOX News that repealing health care isn't realistic. Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ): Our view is that we should repeal &replace the bill...Obviously, the president will not sign a repeal bill that the Congress passes, so thats more of a symbol... Barack Obama is president. He would never sign a repeal law. We dont have the votes to get it passed right now. Were not going to waste our time on that.

U.S. Constitution Article 1 Section 8 seems to cover health care reform. Don't be deceived. Politicians love overly emotional, uninformed people. Afterall, you're much easier to control and contain. But, Newt Gingrich, Rubio & Senator Kyle (AZ) all know repeal isn't going to happen. Google and learn what's really going on. They've all told us as much this month, March 2010. It's not going to happen!!

FYI: The U.S. Constitution Article 1 Section 8 reads The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense AND general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be UNIFORM throughout the United States;

hahahahahahahaha! way to go, repubs! i hope you carry through with mccain's threat to not cooperate for the rest of the year; i'm sure legislators who refuse to legislate will look real good come election time -- 'cause it always looks good to do nothing, lol.

You can't repeal the healthcare bill until 2012 at the earliest, and that is assuming you have a Republican President, and the GOP controls both houses of Congress with strong majorities.
This "repeal" this is just rhetoric. There's nothing the GOP can do.

Powers not delegated to the Congress in the 9th and 10th amendment are delegated to the States.

The reason the Republicans don't really care is because they are going to let the Democrats drowned in their own drown over Obama.
First, the Constitution does not give Congress the power to require that Americans purchase health insurance. Congress must be able to point to at least one of its powers listed in the Constitution as the basis of any legislation it passes.

Yeah. The republicans got shit done because it was a dictatorshop from 2000 to 2008. Right. And yeah, I do blame the democratic party, but Obama is the leader. He should just stop fucking around sucking republican cocks, and just focus on getting his own party on board. He will never get the republicans with him without mutilating the bill. Hell, even then he won't get them with him because their #1 priority is to have him fail.

Once HDR passes and people will not be kicked off coverage for getting sick, and can not be refused coverage for having been sick in the past - you think the GOP is really going to run against THAT? Run on telling the Citizens of The United States of America that it was better when sick people were refused coverage? Ah HAHAHAHAH - love you conservatives - funnier than a barrel on monkeys! - please GOP, run on keeping people uninsured - I want to see it so bad!!!
This guy is full of shit. It already passed. The senate passed the bill with a super-majority of 60 votes. The house needs to pass the senate bill and then both will pass the reconciliation bill (which only needs 50 votes in the senate). It's pretty much inevitable at this point that it will passed.
