The strike by pilots of India's national air carrier Air India entered its third day on Monday.
Last minute cancellation of flights by Air India has caused an upheaval with passengers schedules.
[Shilpi, Passenger]:
"We kept on calling them till 9 at night to ask about the flight schedule. If they had told us yesterday we would have cancelled the flight and made arrangements on some other flight. They kept on telling us the flight was scheduled but this morning it was cancelled.
Passengers in Mumbai faced the same frustrating situation.
[Kumar, Passenger]:
"We were planning to go, they said, the flight was delayed due to some reason, that's the reason we are staying here."
On Sunday Air India management offered to set up a committee to address the pilots concerns.
The cost-cutting measure affects over 7,000 of its employees and amounts to a 25 to 50 percent incentive cut.
Air India has sought a government bailout after posting an $875 million loss in the fiscal year ending in March.
