Here is yet another short slide show of my horse ThatsTheWay
(aka TW)
((aka buddy))
He is a 16.1hh 4 year old Thoroughbred x-race horse (half brother to Curlin)

ThatsTheWay is a very solid horse Bred by Wayne Hash & W.S. Farishthat. He comes from excellent blood lines with his Sire being Smart Strike and his Dam being Ring Again.

He was off to an excellent start on the track placing/winning almost every race that he was entered in until he injured a sesamoid in May 2007. He was well rested after his injury and was ready for a new career.
When I first saw 'ThatsTheWay' it was love at first sight! He has such a kind intelligent eye to him and he is just a pure joy to work with. I have really come to love him in the short time that I have had him & I can't wait till the day that he is ready to start dressage training. He is a really kind hearted, smart horse ... not to mention his good looks ;)

  • Rodeostar210- hmm I don't think that you have the one in this video because he is retired on a farm near Chicago. However, I'll still write to give you more info and confirm this.

  • @dairyduchess Is it possible that I have this horse now? I have been researching what I belive to be this horse. I am located in south western Michigan.

  • @JerryStreet27 I highly doubt it. What is his lip tattoo?

  • i might be looking at getting an ottb.... :P

  • Oh really?

I LOVE working with ottbs. They always turn into the best horses ever :)

  • really? lots of people tell me not to get one thats why i am not sure yet apparently they have all the bad habits, take more work that greenies etcetc....

  • well, yes and no. Some ottbs do take a lot more work than greenies. It all depends on how they were treated on the track. If you are a smart buyer than you should be able to pick-up on any bad habbits when you first meet the horse. There is much more to be said on the subject however, just not in a comment. :)
