  • As kittykattykoo has asked me what language you hear at the beginning of track 7: it is none at all in fact! I just improvised some "fake talk". I tried to make it sound like someone from an ancient culture talking to their kids before bedtime. I imagined a tent or wooden house in the moonlit valley, where from the outside you could hear the people's whisper before they sleep.

  • The computer drawing of the whale took me a whole day last summer. I guess I should make a how-to video about it when I find the time to. Here is a quick text version: I drew the rough shape as a vector of the center colour (blue). I made it grainy with a fair pixel noise (and blurred the grains) to get a more natural texture. Using several different photos, I then modelled the whale with "lighter" vs "darker" shader pens only. The eye (much larger than a real whale's) is an extra layer.

  • (The photos I used only as a reference, I wanted a 100% self-made whale. Besides, none of the whale pics was in the right angle, and I also changed the proportions a little bit.)
