Hello cyber peeps. My name is Coco and I'm a music artist from Canada. This is a lo-fi video for my new song "Intellectual Boys" that I just made myself (woo hoo!). The song will be on my new album "Joyful" which is coming out on Apr 21st '09 on Sound Of Pop records. Making this video was super fun. Diegog5, you missed the mark on this. This is a great song that was intended to be funny and playful and I think the intention was to simply enjoy it rather than get hung up on the literal definition of "intellectual" versus "smart". Use a little of your own intellect and enjoy the artistry of this great talent.

I think that one needs to take the next step and promote the idea of the free thinking intellectual. In most cases, a true evaluation of intellectualism is not confined to the perverted system of institutional academics. Rather the merits of an individual’s thoughts, the depth of their insight, and mediums of articulation should truly be celebrated. Contrary to the norm of calculus text books and the “nerd” with the bow tie.

I think my thoughts were best articulated by The Streets in the song, The Irony of it All. One line in particular that strikes me is "'cause I take pride in my hobby, homemade bongs using my engineering degree." Other than that, it's a wonderful song.
