The next week flew by quick. Joe was spending most of his time in the hospital, visiting Mercedes, instead of preparing for their tour, which the leave for in four days, like Kevin and Nick where doing. Speaking of Nick and Kevin, neither of them have talked to their girlfriends in about a week. I really think things may be on the ends.

But I shouldnt be thinking about that right now. All I should be thinking about is tonight. Tonight is the dance. I am so nervous. I walked to my closet and opened it. I pulled out my dress and laid it out on my bed I ran my hand over the silky blue material. I hope Jesse will like it.

- Hey!-

I jumped and quickly turned to look behind me. Amal, Ana and Emerald were standing by my bedroom door.
- Sorry, your mom let us in. We thought we could get ready together.- Emerald said and smiled at me.
- Oh yeah. I was just about to call you guys and ask you to come over.-
They walked in and all laid their dresses on my bed.
- I cant wait.- Ana said.
- Me either.- Amal said.
- Yeah.- I said, dazed. I couldnt stop thinking about Jesse.
- Well, I cant wait for me and Melanee to my cousin-in-law.- Emerald teased.
- Shut up!- I said and threw a pillow at her, which she ducked.
- K. Lets get out dresses on!- Amal said.
She went into my closet and slipped on her short, strapless dress. It was white with little cherries all over it with a red ribbon in the middle.
- Whoa! Amal you look great!- I said. She smiled and twirled around.
- Haha. Okay! My turn!- Ana said, grabbed her dress off me bed, and walked into my closet.
She soon walked back out wearing her simple, but old-fashioned dress. It was red with dark blue polka dots.
- You look cute!- Emerald said when she walked out.
- Thanks. Now your turn.- Ana said to Emerald.
- Fine.- Emerald got up and got her dress and went into my closet.
She returned wearing a shiny, green strapless dress with a green ribbon in the middle and a little silver button ( AN: its not really a button, I just didnt no what to call it. Lol) on it.
- Whoa! Does Emerald actually look hot?!- I teased her.
- Shut up! Go put on your dress!- She snapped.
- Easy, girl.- I smiled. I walked into my closet and realized I never tried on my dress yet. Wow, am I dumb! I sure hope it fits now!
I slipped the blue silk over my head. I looked down and ran my hand over the blue silky fabric. And admired the blue ribbon that hung off the dress and the silver diamond type thing in the center. I walked out of the closet and twirled around.
- How do I look?- I asked.
- Wow. You look beautiful!- Amal said.
- Jesse is a lucky guy.- Ana said.
- Whatever. Now we have to do out hair.- I said.

I simple just put my hair in a pony tail on top of my head, letting my banana curls fall over me head.
Ana curled light brown hair. Amal straighten hers and Emerald just bowled hers out.
We all applied some make-up and put on out shoes. Amal had on white flats, Ana had on red flats, Emerald has on silver heels and so did I.
We all walked downstairs.
- Whoa! My sisters friends are HOT!- Frankie said from wear he sat down with Amals little brother, Mike.
- Yeah. Hey Melanee! You have a date?- Mike said with a little grin on his face.
- Not my sister dude!- Frankie said to him.
- Shut up guys!- Me and Amal said at the same time.

- Awww! How cute! Okay girls, get together for a picture!- My mom said.
- Mom!- I complained.
- Now!- My mom said and we all jumped and hurried to get a picture.
Okay, lets go.- I said, hoping not to run into any of my brothers. Too late. Nick was standing by the door.
- Okay! Listen, if any boys ask you to dance, slap him in the face, pour punch on him and get the heck of there!- He said.
- Okay, cuz you know well to that.- Ana smiled at him.
- Nick!- I whined.
- Okay. Go! Have a good time!- He opened the door and we walked out.
We seen Annie, Wendy, and Jess walking down their driveway. ( AN: Remember, Annie and Ana are twins, and live Next door to Melanee.)
They all had on black dresses. Annie was wearing a tight, short black dress covered with sequence. Wendy was wearing a plain black, strapless dress but with a pink sequence ribbon. And Jess was wearing a black strapless dress with sequence on the bottom and a bow.

Annie looked at us up and down and laughed.
- Aw! Look! They tried to look good!- She giggled.
- Aw! Look! Annie tried to look slutty! Too bad she has nothing to show off!- Ana smiled, referring to her flat, well you know. Lol.
I looked as if Wendy and Jess were holding back laughter. I laughed.
- So true!- I said.
Annie rolled her eyes and walked down the block.
We got all our laughter out and started walking to the school. It was sunset. I couldnt help thinking about Jesse the whole time. We finally got to the school and walked to the gym. I searched for Jesse but didnt see him.
