Highlights from a sustained 15 minute attack by a 2m wingspan female at Stringybark Creek in SE Queensland. This is a resident eagle onsite known as the "Bitch" due to her high level of aggression. Note that some of the attacks are head on which is unusual. An attack is 99% guaranteed at this site.

  • Wow... do eagles attack paragliders always? What can you do to avoid it?... I live in Minnesota and there are hundreds of bold eagles from St Paul down the river to Wabasha and I thought about starting in this sport, but this is a big issue.

  • cool Jase did you show it who's boss? who's glider did you borrow!!? (and did they know?!) Bring a water pistol next time? hehe
