Why dont u read 1 kings 8:1 it tells you Zion is the city of David (Jerusalem) and again for you culturally unlearned blacks.
There is an old negroe spiritual that slaves sung "We are Marching to Zion" she used it in this song.

Of course I know what the song is about, she then sings a hook from a old negroe spiritual that says "we are Marching marching marching to zion" and that is referring to our homeland of Jerusalem.
