  • Rufus Reid, a very fine person, teacher, and player, always has a distinct sound. His set up and bass are always the best. I had the pleasure of eating dinner with Mr. Reid and some other players. What a fine guy. What a brilliant musician.

  • @gnufender Thanks!

  • @Shawn200220012000200 he had a big band long before he joined yellowjackets

  • Always brilliant arrangements from Bob !!

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • That would be Dave Taylor on bass trombone!

  • who is that guy on bass trombone?

  • Classic jazz song written by the late great Count Basie. Bob Mintzer from the Yellowjackets went solo and formed his own big band. It was classic!

  • @Blijdenstein Ahh yes, the incredible Rufus Reid! I clean forgot about him. Incidentally, a side note, he was Steve Rodby's teacher.

  • @BassmanII It's Rufus Reid on bass!
