I bought this DVD and was disappointed that there was zero footage of the approach to Simonds from the pilots viewpoint. Only ground level shots. Could have done without the trip to Big Creek. Seems like as waste of footage for a DVD called Big Rocks..The flyfishing scenes were a bit like watching someone's home movies. I paid for that? Would have been nice to use that time for some other airstrip approaches.

I just watched the idaho backcountry DVD- 4 times in a row. Such great footage! i would love to go to each one of the places! Thanks for putting that together, very informative, and very entertaining as well. Thank you!

Sorry you did not like it, I try and give people what they ask for but you can
not please everyone. The approach to Simmonds is not difficult, it is straight in and straight out, the hard part is the landing with the sidehill, which makes it feel like it is pushing you off the strip.
That is what I wanted to show but I guess it got somewhat lost in the translation.
