Afterbuner + Thrust vectoring unit done by Students of Singapore Polytechnic

Engine itself is a JetCat P120, which is bought off the shelf.

There is no spark plug in the design.

Produces about 15% increase in thrust.

Design done using CATIA V5.

Please comment and give advice on how can we improve on it!

Notes :
- the yellow thing that pops in during the video is a thermal camera.
- i know this is not a REAL afterburner, will work on it further to improve.
- unable to light afterburner and thrust vector at the same time. need to work on flame stability.

@highvoltagefeathers we've a load cell in and it has measured about 15% increase in thrust. There are improvements over the months and now it isn't making a big flame, more of bluish short flames now. Will upload soon.

Good work, but your afterburner doesn't look to be doing much other than making a big flame :P
