Can our Earth be saved? Yes, but only if future generations
love it enough to protect it.
That's just one of the messages in Stewart Udall: Advocate
for the Earth, which tells the tale of one man's lifelong passion
for and preservation of the land. The film follows Stewart
Udall's long life, from his birth and boyhood in a small
Arizona town to his service as an activist U. S. Secretary of
the Interior to the present.
It highlights his legacy as one of the most important environmental
voices of our time, a man who acted on his beliefs by
setting aside many lands for the American people.
The film is enhanced by spectacular and inspiring video of
some of the wild places in the American West and echoes
Stewart Udall's call for us to have a "love affair with the
wonder and beauty of the Earth."
