Two major downsides to the Sony Playstation version was the load times, and the memory it ate up on the memory card, which was about five blocks. And memory cards normally held up to fifteen blocks at most.
I had no problems with the games audio however.

Agreed, this Playstation intro is downright horrible. Music is atrocious, an insult to the X-COM mythology.
