Dancing bins. Shot in a raw home-video style, Bin Can Can follows the increasingly elaborate antics of a group of suburban "wheelie bins". Their awkward but meticulously choreographed dance is synchronized with Offenbach's familiar soundtrack.

  • Great Video!!!! Those bins are otto and the other one is brickwood if i'm right!!!

    And what council is that?

  • @frankferte Ryde, NSW. About 10 years old now. The green ones have a hippo logo on them.. wouldn't know what brand they are. :)

  • That's GREAT! How many hours did it take to put all this together?

  • @FormerWMDriver It was a long time ago, but about three months part-time.

  • which camera u used to film that?

  • The backgrounds and textures are all still photos taken on a very old (~1998) digital camera that I'd borrowed from work - it saved the images directly to a 3.5-inch floppy disk. The were compressed jpegs less than 1 megapixel.

  • My grandson and I loved this! He's obsessed with garbage in all its forms, especially the trucks. I especially love the little round can - it dances down the middle of the road with such insouciance!

  • brilliant :)
