Very epic guitar playing!

The DVD is a transfer from the original 1980s VHS, In it he shows us the techniques he uses, how to perform them, including his signature volume "yank", attempts to emulate some of his heroes such as Pat Metheny. He even challenges himself with one of his own solos. The top song 'soup to nuts' is "Amazing Grace" where he improvs. (not like MATM). He is an excellent teacher and uses a great deal of self effacing humor. Get it and learn from the best axe player I've ever witnessed.

I've been listening to Phil Kaeggy for 23 years --- and his music NEVER gets old. This is my 2nd favorite song by him (the 1st is "The Wind and the Wheat.") Thank you for posting. :)

This song refers to Hebrews 12 vs 1. When I first heared this as now I was totally amazed. It is appropiate for our day and time. Even though it is an Instrumental!

THis is soooo goood. in the 21st century people don't make music with that quality anymore

He's no guitarist. He's an artist. He just paints with a guitar instead of a brush.

Take a look at "fragile forest" and "The Reunion", both are from Phil Keaggy and are as good as "The Wind and the Wheat" in my opinion.
It is true that this melody "The Wind and the Wheat" got something really special in it !
Always a pleasure for me to listen to Phil Keaggy's music, and I will be honest with you, it is a huge advantage for me that he is christian, because it gives me the proof that he seek the best in him, the best in life.
Hope you will experience the mystery of God one day
