Stop waisting time with Agility. Hit first. even if you're slower, it's a freaking pikachu. You're not losing anything by hitting with an earthquake first.

Yeah I am, I'm wasting the potential to outspeed the next pokemon switched in.

Say I use EQ against Pikachu turn 1, I kill it, then my opponent switches in something faster. I then have to switch out if I don't want Metagross to be KOed. If I use Agility first, I get hit by Pikachu on turn 1 but then I outspeed it the next turn and KO it. My opponent switches in another pokemon and then after the Agility I am likely to outspeed it too and be able to put a dent in it, like I did to Nidoking.

Light Ball used to only double Special Attack- now, in D/P/PT, it doubles both attack stats.

@deltadragon2000 he used the toxic orb. thats his ursaring's abolity quick feet activating. its like guts except whenever burned or poisoned, the pokemon's speed goes up rather than attack
